Tradition,

Heritage and History.

Generations of craftsmen have made English willow cricket bats in a way that has stood the test of time.

Pod Shaving can be traced back to the origins of the game itself and at Viking cricket we continue to make stunning cricket bats using those skills and traditions handed down by the generations before us.

All our bats are made in Yorkshire by our Master bat-maker James Dollive in the traditional way. Every bat is made with pride and passion the way he was taught over 20 years ago. If were not 100% happy with a bat it doesn't get sold because we believe if it's not good enough for us to use then it's not good enough.

Viking Cricket where tradition and heritage combine to bring you world class cricket bats, handmade in Yorkshire by Norsemen used by you, our warriors.

Whats New

for 2018

at Viking Cricket?

Updated 05/April/2018

The season hasnt even started and It's already our most exciting one yet.

We have agreed to Sponsor Karl Carver from Yorkshire CCC for the 2018 season and we are delighted to welcome him to Viking Cricket and at the Beginning of April we welcomed Will Davis of Derbyshire CCC to join Karl using Viking Cricket equipment.

We have introduced of our new range of batting gloves, batting leg pads and other cricket equipment and it's been very well received.

We launched our new fully custom bat into the range called The Valhalla and in our first outing in The Cricketer Magazine Good Gear Guide we won Best in Class and 2nd Overall for 2018 so we are very pleased.

Finally but most excitedly for us we have decided to help support 4 young county cricketers, Matthew Revis (Yorkshire CCC), Bethany Harvey (Lancashire CCC), Alfie Blundell (Warwickshire CCC) and Luke Stoner-Lewis (Middlesex CCC and England PD).

During the season you will be able to follow the journey they take as they continue in their young cricket careers. Follow them on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram to see how they progress through the season. We will add a few pictures to the gallery below as the season goes on.

We are also Very Proud to be sponsoring Steeton CC in it's 150th Anniversary celebrations.

Wow, what a season we had in 2017

As one of the relatively new bat brands in the market we know you have a wide range of choice when buying cricket equipment. So, to have our bats being sold to all corners of the globe is brilliant and we are grateful to everybody who bought a Viking bat in 2017. We became sponsors of the Iceland cricket team, forged new partnerships including the world famous Jorvik Viking Centre, in York.

We supported the Cricket Asylum Foundation, were chosen to provide T20 shirts for the 11 teams in the Middlesex CCC ladies League, featured in the Cricketer magazine and we were voted in the top 7 best bats of 2017 by The Telegraph magazine.

We saw our cricket bats in the computer game Don Bradman cricket 2017 and finally were told that one of our Iceland cricket shirts is proudly hanging in the Don Bradman Museum in NSW, Australia - now that's an honor.

Once again thank you to everybody that bought our cricket bats and worked with us in 2017, but we have only just started, watch out 2018 there's an Invasion taking place. #jointheinvasion

— it's just the beginning, Viking Cricket.
